Blue silk corset - Custom work

This piece is a recent commission I made for a curvy client. It's made of electric blue with purple weave shantung silk, and has been ornated with hand cut lace appliques and acrylic rhinestones in deep blue and black.
It features 5 layers of fabric -silk, coutil, a double layer of light cotton canvas and printed cotton lining-, a black busk front closure, a combination of flat steel and spiral wire boning (6 flats, 6 11mm-wide spirals, and 14 7mm-wide spirals), waist stay antique metal two-piece eyelets at the back, an unboned modesty plaket under the busk, and a boned suspended modesty panel at the back.
