Custom mini top hat for First Communion

This sweet mini hat was designed and handmade taking inspiration from several pictures given by my customer. It's made of first quality ivory silk satin and ornated with matching colour braided trim on the edge of the crown and brim. There's also a hand pleated ivory lace trim sewn at the bottom edge of the brim. The mini hat features a peachy pink cotton satin ribbon all around the base of the crown, over which I've sewn five fabric flowers in various shades of pink and different sizes and designs. I've also placed natural feathers in matching ivory and pink tones at the back of the headdress, and two wire ornaments at the front featuring crystal beads, filigree beads and faux pearls in matching colours. An elastic has been attached for a comfortable wear.
